Wondering how to make a café-worthy iced coffee at home? Let me show you my easy homemade iced latte recipe. It is so simple, delicious that you might just start skipping the coffee shop altogether.
With my recipe, you can have that same café-style creamy, refreshing taste right in your kitchen. No fancy skills, no complicated steps, and no mystery ingredients – just a delicious homemade coffee that tastes like it came from your favourite barista.

This one is all about keeping it simple, quick, and delicious, so you can sip, relax, and beat the heat.
Now, I am usually a hot coffee person – I want my coffee in a cozy mug, hot steamed milk and with the whole ordeal.
But when the heat and humidity roll in, I need something cold, creamy, and refreshing to keep me going. This is usually my afternoon treat when the weather says no to hot drinks.

What You’ll Need
Espresso – I love my Nespresso machine (one of my favourite kitchen tools). Just brew a strong shot of espresso, as this is the flavour base that makes your latte perfect.
Milk – I use full-fat milk for a creamy taste, but any plant-based milk works great, too.
Honey or Maple Syrup – My sweeteners of choice. Adjust to taste or skip entirely if you like your coffee bold.
Cinnamon – My coffee crush, always. For iced lattes, I mix it into the milk before frothing, so every sip has a gentle warmth. Just the way I like it.

Milk Frother – I use my Nespresso Aeroccino milk frother, but any frother will do. If you have no frother, just pour the milk straight in. You will miss the foam, but the flavour will still be amazing.
Ice – I mean – come on! What would ice coffee be without few cubes of ice?

Ingredients
¼ cup espresso
¼ cup milk, frothed
½ teaspoon honey or maple syrup
¼ teaspoon cinnamon powder
Ice cubes
Optional: whipped cream for extra indulgence, if you want
Directions
- Start with brewing the espresso. I use my Nespresso machine, but any strong coffee will do.
- Fill a glass with ice. Pour the espresso over the ice. I love this step. There is something so satisfying seeing that hot coffee merging with the ice cubes.
- Next, froth the milk. I like combining the milk, honey (or maple syrup), and cinnamon together. Froth until it gets creamy and rich.
- Gently add the frothed milk to your coffee. Stir slowly so it stays nicely layered and pretty.
- Optional, but highly recommended to add a swirl of whipped cream. Like icing on a cake, but for a coffee. I decided to go light, so excluded it this time.
Notes
- You can replace the cinnamon for cocoa powder or nutmeg if you want a different twist.
And there you have it – smooth, refreshing, and such an easy treat to make. This homemade iced latte is proof you can make your favourite iced coffee right in your own kitchen, café style.
But, hold one! I have more iced coffee variations. Make sure you check them out to compare.
